Hello, I’m Diane.
I’m a yoga and movement science professional. I’ve studied, practiced and taught yoga for more than twenty years. During this timespan I’ve grown evermore enamored with the myriad practices of yoga and how these processes can, and do, positively affect the human condition; physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Simply put, I believe yoga is a guide to help each of us live a life filled with beautiful, bitter-sweet, peculiar and amazing moments!
I’ve found yoga, as a physical practice, helps keep my body strong and relatively limber. Yoga, as a philosophy, gives me some much needed inner peace, centering, and an inkling of how I fit together with everyone and everything in this Universe. My practices help me wake up with an attitude that no matter how sunny or cloudy the day (or my disposition), if I pause and breathe deeply I can accept and make peace with the present moment. You too can find these same benefits through yoga. I’m here to help!

For us, the Covid_19 masks are not the first challenge to our breathing.
I upset a loved one recently: a young person, near and dear to my heart.
It was not my intention to do so, and I was completely clueless I had been hurtful. Yet, my actions led to a very distraught individual. The details of the situation are irrelevant to this narrative, however the lessons learned, and the outcome of it all are what is important.
“…Something happened to my back while bending, and I was barely able to move, and in excruciating pain. I went the doctor, and was told that my T10-11 had broken straight through. I felt drawn to ask Diane for help, and we began private sessions via Skype. Her help was amazing! Her skill level is so high. She intuitively knew just what I needed. I have completed yoga therapy with Diane, and you won’t believe the stuff I can do now. (Side plank, etc.) She gave me my life back. I really never thought things would be the same. It’s been a long haul, but the vertebrae healed without surgery and I have full range of motion in my spine. What a gift!”
